Dear Bhonsorias

I'm 18f, recently I was returning from my examination hall after my boards exam. While my mom was driving (because students aren't allowed to drive during boards for safety reasons in our school) a car stops infront of us. I mean fine we waited, and guess what did the car stop for. To throw beer cans in the canal(which ended up falling on the road). It was a group adults like fully grown, they seem financially well enough and educated. And the fact that it's so normalised that no one even cares enough to point it out really sucks. They were a group of men so ofc my mom told me to stay shut cuz she definitely knew I was frustrated. So I just looked at them n nodded my head in disappointment.

Usually whenever we talk about throwing garbages in the public people automatically assume the illiterate or yk poor people who don't understand blah blah. But in reality I've noticed a lot of fully grown educated parents and adults do this openly.

How are we supposed to maintain our image when we're the one clearly ruining it infront of the world. Littering in the public and I mean literally in the streets, throwing garbages wherever they want etc. It's 2025 and we're still here? There are uncountable no. of public dustbins out there in bbsr that you can easily find. However people just choose to throw it in the most beautiful places like it's their father's property.

Gardens, beaches, near temples n what not. I've seen this happen everywhere. At least as educated adults we should have this much civic sense. Let's not ruin our own state or city cuz of our own carelessness and lazyness. We've childern learning from us. Let's not prove "you earn your stereotype" true.
