Act 3 dialogue bug

So when i first started act 3 i was attacked by githyanki, i entered the portal and i encountered the emperor, i asked him to prove that he what he was saying is true, and he told me about my exploits, he mentioned the elfsong tavern dialogue in which he told me about his room and how i comforted him when he needed afterwards but i did no such thing is this a feature or a bug? How is it even possible that i comforted him about anything that dialogue should trigger after i finish the first astral plane sequence i believe. Can anyone enlighten me about this?
