Why does Tonowari lets Ronal battle while pregnant?

In Avatar The Way of Water the scene where Ronal was about to go battle while pregnant but Tonowari told her to stay and she refuses. But why does he let her go into battle while pregnant? Isn't it dangerous for her and her unborn child?
