Seriously, how do you stop clothes smelling damp and horrible when drying inside?!

My clothes ALWAYS smell awful when I've dried them inside, and I've tried everything. So...

- Clothes are immediately moved to a drying rack in the family bathroom. Clothes are draped over two bars so they're not hanging on themselves.

- A large dehumidifier is run for several hours after putting them on the drying rack. Clothes typically dry within 4 hours even in midwinter.

- I've tried washing the machine thoroughly, emptying the filters, wiping the seals etc. I've also tried using anti-bac products such as Dettol Laundry Sanitiser.

- Normally I use the "outdoor fresh" softener products.

I feel like I've tried everything I can, yet im sitting here with a t-shirt I need to iron and it stinks. It's properly bringing me down as others have commented on the smell before. How can I fix this? Please help! Any tips appreciated.
