As a dad/father figure, how often do you think about your children’s safety when they’re out there by themselves?

My (21M) work requires me to drive majority of the time and when i picked up my dad from work one day, he did casually told me that he worries about me being on the road all the time (might be involved in a terrible accident or something). Is this something that father figures (or parents in general) think about their children? How can i assure him that despite that anything can happen, im always careful and he doesnt need to worry about me being in an accident?
