Does it concern you that the commander in chief of the U.S. military wasn’t included in the signal exchange about the war plans?

It was posted this morning on this sub that war plans were discussed on signal and the editor in chief of the Atlantic was added. I’m sure we all saw the news break. But further developments have occurred.

Besides the national security risk, I find it kinda concerning that the commander in chief of the military (Trump) wasn’t aware of this exchange, stating he “doesn't know anything about it," and later added that he was hearing about it for the first time from the reporter who asked the question. Direct quote: "I don't know anything about it," the president responded. "I'm not a big fan of The Atlantic. To me, it's a magazine that's going out of business. I think it's not much of a magazine. But I know nothing about it."

The strikes were still being debated by the people in the chat, with Vance saying they might want to delay it but ultimately they can decide whatever. Hegseth responded “I think we should go.”

Does it concern you that Trump wasn’t included in this dialogue? I do understand that just being president doesn’t make you qualified to make every military decision, hence why there are military experts & advisors and everything. But I still think he should have been included in the discussion…. no?

Let me know! Thanks yall :)
