Do you care about a girl's past?

Hey, everyone!

I’m currently developing a game that was originally planned to be an anthology. However, after talking to a few people, I realized that most AVN players prefer something longer, with a story that unfolds over time. So I changed course and started working on a more traditional story, divided into chapters.

That’s all well and good, but I already had a few stories ready for the anthology that I really liked and wanted to bring to life. That’s when I had an idea: to create a single, traditional story while, over time, introducing shorter, standalone tales that explore the past of certain characters, separate from the main plot.

This way, I get the best of both worlds: I can develop a longer, central narrative while also diving deeper into the personalities of the girls without adding unnecessary detours to the main story—especially since many of these girls are secondary characters in the main plot.

That said, I know some people have an issue seeing “their girl” with someone other than the main character. So, what do you think of this approach? Are you okay with it, or do you see it as a problem?
