Question RE Worried about slow progress in AP Psych

So my AP psych class is a year-long class (as per usual) and we just now finished unit 2, are taking the unit 2 final test for our class on wednesday 1/29/25. I keep getting anxious and paranoid about the progression because there's 5 units, and we spent an entire semester on unit 1-2 and the first few weeks of the beginning of the second semester. Our teacher (bless her heart but I'm keeping it real) has been pretty slow moving since she has struggling with her mental health for personal reasons so I also worry this is contributing to it. I would ask past students who took it but the stuff causing it in her life happened recently.

Basically what I'm asking is: 1. Is it normal to be this far along by several weeks into semester 2? Am I behind or is this a perfectly fine pace? 2. Should I start self-teaching unit 5 just in case we don't finish in time so I can avoid having to learn all of unit 5 in the final weeks leading up to the AP exam (May 16th)?

If anyone has any insight I'd really appreciate it because I feel like a sitting duck and I get super paranoid about these things and it's giving me unnecessary anxiety these past few weeks, thank you guys :) And if anyone has any personal experience this year on their progression so far, like if your class is already ___ far along or if any of you guys are also at this point in the curriculum, that would be super helpful too. Thank you kindly!
