Weirded out by something related to 7OH: Staining my whole body in a green glow under UV light
This is probably going to sound strange, and some people are going to think I’m crazy. They are going to say, “it has to be something else”, “you’re just dirty”, “7OH doesn’t do that”, “that’s impossible”, etc.
I recently purchased a flashlight that had a UV flashlight mode. Naturally, I was shining on various different things when I accidentally shined it on my hands and noticed they were glowing BRIGHT green. I looked it up and sure enough, under normal conditions, your skin is not supposed to fluoresce under UV light.
I do not have any medical conditions that would cause this, and I don’t work with any other fluorescent material that would be contaminating me. That’s when I realized that when I pointed the UV light at my 7OH stash, it lit up with the same bright green glow.
I’ll say a few things. I mainly use powder, and I do use a lot of it. I’m not proud of it, but most likely around 150mgs of powder a day, so extremely heavy use. Also, I’ve been using it for around 7 months. It does not surprise me that my body has high levels of it. With that being said, I did not expect it to cause my body to glow this much. I’ve essentially turned myself into a pretty patty. I will post a photo album below so you can see for yourself.
I think the most surprising thing to me is that it is not only on my hands, which is where I would imagine most of the contamination would be, from me handling it over the past 7 months or so. I spill some sometimes and wipe it up with my hand and suck it off my thumb, or use my finger to get the last bit out of a container.
It is not only on my hands though. There is a thin film over my entire body. My arms, my legs, my torso, it all glows a slight green hue. It’s not my actual skin glowing either. If I take a wipe and wipe my skin off, that area looks normal again and does not glow at all. Also, if I take a shower, my body no longer fluoresces, as that cleans it all off. So I am able to clean it off, but the next day, the thin fluorescent film over my entire body comes back.
The only thing I can think of that makes logical sense is that it is coming out in my sweat, and that is what I am seeing on my body. I am able to clean it all off with a shower, but the glow comes back by the end of the day. I’m guessing that because I have such levels of 7OH in my body, it is coming out in my sweat and coating my skin.
I’m wouldn’t say I’m worried about it? But it is definitely very weird and I’m not sure what the implications are. Maybe it’s totally harmless and I’m just going to glow under UV light if I continue to use high amounts of 7OH. I guess I could do a test by ceasing use, regularly taking a shower and throughly cleaning myself and checking to see if it comes back. I might do that because I’m so curious as to why this is happening.
Again, this is probably the strangest thing you have ever read, and you probably won’t believe me, but if you use 7OH powder and you have a UV light, please check yourself and give me some peace of mind that I’m not the only one.
Take a look at the photo album below if you want to see what I’m talking about, I have added a photo with a small bit of 7OH in regular light so you can see the comparison. I also smudged it across my skin so you can see what that looks like. I put a small dab on my arm as well. Please let me know if you use 7OH and this also happens to you under a UV light.
