Just got a launch Jasper still running on the initial 6717 Blades Dashboard!

I returned from college and enjoying my winter break. I’m going back to modding consoles again, and today, while testing a batch of Xbox 360 consoles, I stumbled upon a truly fortunate one. It’s a launch Jasper console (MFR date 11-6-2008). So when I turned it on to test it the original Xbox 360 bootup screen appeared. Initially, I thought it was just going to be on the NXE dashboard, but I was astounded. The blades came up, and I couldn’t believe my eyes! It was a Jasper console still running on the initial 6717 blades dashboard, meaning it had never been updated since its factory production. Every launch Jasper made around that time would’ve had the 6717 blades dashboard as the initial dashboard until you update it. This is why it’s really rare to find one of these still today. Upon opening the faceplate, the warranty sticker is still intact and the gray sticker where the disc drive is. There are no broken clips, meaning that the console has never been opened.

And you know where that means, I have to jtag this bad boy. I do have a lot of experience in soldering and have done RGH’s and even did a xenon jtag before so I am confident that I can accomplish this task without causing any harm. I’ve always wanted a jtaggable Jasper console for a long time. I know that I’ve seen jaspers come up for sale before that are on the NXE dashboard and if it’s below 7371 it would still be jtaggable. However, the fact that a Jasper it’s even on the 6717 blades dashboard is even rarer because it was the first and only blades dashboard that would’ve come with the Jasper models. And having a Jasper on the blades dashboard is the best blades dashboard to have on any Xbox 360 model since it’s not like the others like the xenon or zephyr where it might red ring due from the defective GPU. However, I must ensure that this is indeed a Jasper console running on the retail blades dashboard. I haven’t found anything suspicious considering this console hasn’t been taken apart, so I wanted to seek confirmation from others and if I just got lucky and won the lottery here!
