Sink money into Prodigy 4.25” or start over?

Title. Basically I am calling on everyone who has already traveled down the 2011 rabbit hole. Would you recommend spending money and tinkering/fitting parts into a 4.25” Prodigy? Or should I just buy something from the “next tier” like a Staccato or GP Arms or BUL etc.?

For what it’s worth I am a tinkerer, but have very little experience with 19/2011s. I also have a cheap Tisas DS 5” that I can experiment on without really worrying about messing something up.

Purpose of the gun: USPSA LO Division.
